SUS316L, as an ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel, has added 2% -3% molybdenum element compared to conventional SUS304 stainless steel. This optimized composition has achieved a qualitative leap in its corrosion resistance.
The piston cylinder of the filling machine needs to withstand high-frequency reciprocating motion (some equipment can reach 30-60 reciprocating times per minute), and needs to push the material filling under a certain pressure, which requires extremely high mechanical performance. The tensile strength of SUS316L can reach over 480MPa, and the yield strength exceeds 170MPa. At the same time, it has excellent toughness (elongation ≥ 40%), which can effectively resist fatigue wear and impact loads during reciprocating motion, avoiding deformation, cracking or scratches on the cylinder body.
In addition, its excellent cold working performance can achieve high-precision polishing of the inner wall of the cylinder body (roughness Ra ≤ 0.2 μ m), reduce the frictional resistance between the piston and the cylinder wall, reduce equipment operating noise, extend the service life of piston seals, ensure the stability of continuous operation of the filling machine, and reduce the frequency of shutdown maintenance.
The corrosion resistance and wear resistance of SUS316L greatly extend the service life of the cylinder block
Due to the stable performance of the cylinder block, it can reduce downtime losses caused by cylinder block failures
